Medals Apeldoorn 2025
With exactly one month to go until the start of the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn, the local organizing committee (LOC) today unveiled the medals for the event.
The first medals will be won in the Omnisport stadium directly on day one of competition. On the opening night, Team NED looks to defend their Olympic title in the mixed 4x400m relay. For the very first time at a European Athletics Indoor Championship the 4×4 mixed relay is scheduled into the competition.
Medals will be won in 27 event disciplines.
The medals for the championships are 90 millimetres in diameter and feature the iconic ovals of the Omnisport venue, the official logo for the championships in the centre and stylised athletics track around the perimeter of the medals.
The medals represent the slogan of Apeldoorn 2025 ‘moving people’: “you did it. By moving yourself, you’ve moved people. You have encouraged people to come and visit our thrilling venue Omnisport, you shared with them a part of your journey and your success. You gave them memories they will cherish for a lifetime.”

“Can’t stop the move” will be the official song of the European Athletics Indoor Championships Apeldoorn 2025, 6 February 2025.
European Athletics and the LOC, together with Massive Music, is really proud to announce the release of the official song ‘Can’t stop the move’ for the forthcoming Apeldoorn 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships with just 1 month to go.
The song is written by Massive Music and sung by Eline Esmee, a Dutch singer songwriter. In the summer of 2022 she released her debut single ”History”.
The lyrics are inspired by Moving People, the slogan of the European Athletics Indoor Championships. We truly hope that we have created an energetic song connected to the event, which is going to inspire the hundreds of athletes competing and narrate their experience through the good and the bad. This official anthem will also be integrated into all parts of the competition and we cannot wait to see the stadium of Omnisport rocking to the track.
’Can’t stop the move’ will be heard around Europe as of today and it will be used as an integral part of our digital content before, during and after Apeldoorn 2025.
