General Terms and Conditions European Athletics Indoor Championships 2025 

In these general terms and conditions, the terms indicated with a capital letter have the following meanings:

DEFINITIONS

  • “General Terms and Conditions”: these general ticket conditions of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
  • “Ticket”: an admission ticket for an event session.
  • “Agreement”: the agreement between you and the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships for the purchase and sale of one or more tickets. The event organizer is TIG Sports B.V.
  • “Event”: the event for which you have purchased a ticket, indicated with date, time, and stadium.
  • “Access prohibition”: the prohibition described in these General Terms and Conditions.
  • “You or Your”: the person who enters into or has entered into an agreement with the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships through the website.
  • “Website”: the ticket shop of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.”

GENERAL
By agreeing to the general terms and conditions, you agree to the following conditions, ticket conditions, access conditions, privacy policy, and regulations.

  • In the event of cancellation, interruption, non-commencement, or non-completion of a competition, the organization cannot be held liable. The costs of the entrance fee will not be reimbursed.
  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships reserves the right to change the starting times of events in the program.
  • Damage suffered at the event location cannot be claimed from the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships cannot take responsibility for minors.
  • Individuals who cannot be held responsible for their own actions must be accompanied by a guardian who is responsible for these individuals.
  • Visitors who disrupt the event in any way, cause damage, or personal injury will be personally held liable.
  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships reserves the right to deny individuals or organizations access to the event location in advance without giving reasons.
  • Visitors are required to follow all instructions on (warning) signs and instructions from the organization and staff.

THE AGREEMENT

  • The agreement is established when you complete the purchase process for a Ticket on the Website and receive an email confirmation of your purchase along with an electronic file containing the ticket from the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
  • During the ordering process, you provide the personal data necessary for the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships to deliver a Ticket to you. The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships is not responsible for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete data entry in your ordering process.
  • Each agreement is exclusively concluded in Dutch or English and electronically archived by the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships. You can request a copy of this from the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
  • As part of the Agreement, in exchange for the payment of the purchase price, you gain access to a sports event held on a specific date and time. The agreement for the sale of admission tickets for such sports events is exempt from statutory withdrawal rights. After purchase, you cannot return your ticket to the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.

PRICE AND COSTS

  • For each ticket, you owe the purchase price to the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
  • Costs depend on the sport, day, session, and type of visitor.

TICKET CONDITIONS

  • Each Ticket is proof of a right of access to the specified Event for one adult or child. The ticket is provided with a unique barcode by the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
  • To gain access to the respective event venue, you must enable a staff member to scan the barcode on the Ticket. Each barcode can only be scanned once per location. You are responsible for securely keeping your Ticket so that someone else cannot show the barcode at the entrance to the respective event venue.
  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships does not guarantee that all matches included in the Event will be played on the date and time indicated on the Ticket. If the Event does not take place for any reason, the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships is not obligated to refund the purchase price of the Ticket to you.
  • You may purchase a maximum of 10 Tickets per transaction. Tickets may be resold to direct friends or family without a markup. If you resell a Ticket, you must inform the buyer that they must comply with the General Terms and Conditions. You guarantee that the buyer actually does so.
  • Tickets may not be used for commercial purposes. If you are a business and wish to purchase admission tickets for the Event to invite guests or for other commercial purposes, you must contact the organization TIG Sports outside the Website.
  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships may deny you access to the event venue or remove you if, in the reasonable opinion of the organization, you violate one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions + House Rules. If the organization exercises this right, your right of access to any of the event venues is forfeited without the right to a refund of the purchase price.

ACCESS REGULATIONS

  • You are obliged to show your ticket upon the first request from the police or authorized personnel of the respective location and to immediately follow any instructions provided to you.
  • You do not have access to areas not intended for access by the general public.
  • You may not impede the flow at various event venues. This includes limiting your use of entrances, stairs, aisles, and platforms to strictly necessary entry or exit purposes.
  • Upon entering the respective event venue, you may not be under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or narcotics. If there is reasonable suspicion of such a condition by the controlling staff, you may be denied access to the tournament.
  • Offering for sale or possessing items for sale, such as beverages, foodstuffs, souvenirs, T-shirts, scarves, flags, at the event venues is not permitted.
  • Possession of bottles, glasses, cans, sticks, banners with, in the eyes of the controlling staff, discriminatory, provocative, or advertising texts, chains, impact, stabbing, or cutting weapons, fireworks, or other objects and means that can be used as weapons or to disrupt order is not allowed at the various event venues.
  • Throwing objects or liquids is not allowed at the event venue.
  • You may not have or use substances on the event venue that, in the opinion of the staff, cause unnecessary inconvenience or nuisance to others or may be dangerous to another person or property, including substances that make excessive noise such as a foghorn or horn.
  • You may not behave provocatively or threateningly on the event venue or create any danger to your own or others’ lives or health, or behave in such a way that you may cause damage to the respective event venue, such as climbing light poles, fences, roofs, boards, and other equipment or structures.
  • Bringing dogs and other animals to the event venue is prohibited. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs and assistance dogs.
  • By using Your Ticket, you accept that you may be searched by the police and authorized personnel, and that they may seize any items found on you that are not allowed based on these General Terms and Conditions.
  • Security checks take place upon entry to the event venue.
  • Upon entering the venue, visitors agree that they may be photographed or filmed for commercial or security purposes.

ACCESS PROHIBITION

  • If the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships has exercised its right as described in the Ticket Conditions, it may impose an Access Prohibition on you. This prohibition means that you are not allowed to attend any of the events of the European Athletics Indoor Championships. The scope of the Access Prohibition depends on the seriousness of the behaviors that led to the denial of access or removal from one of the event venues. An Access Prohibition will be communicated to you in writing.
  • If the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships has imposed an Access Prohibition on you, you may file an objection with the organization. The objection does not have a suspensive effect. The objection must be sent in writing and by registered mail. The objection must be received by the organization no later than 14 days after the date of the Access Prohibition. If you submit the objection too late, the organization will declare your objection inadmissible. The organization will decide on an admissible objection within 30 days of receipt and communicate its decision to you in writing.
  • During the duration of the Access Prohibition, you may not purchase Tickets. If you still possess a Ticket, the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships is not obliged to grant you access to the Event.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/INDEMNIFICATION

  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships is not liable for any damage you may incur during your visit to the Event.
  • The liability of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships for damage arising from attributable or non-compliance with the Agreement by the organization is limited to the total amount you paid to the organization for the respective tickets.
  • The liability of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships for damage arising from intentional or gross negligence of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships or its board is not limited.
  • You indemnify the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships against any financial disadvantage it incurs as a result of your non-compliance with one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions, such as non-compliance with access regulations.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships has partially outsourced the execution of the agreement to CM Tickets. CM Tickets may perform its obligations under this Agreement on behalf of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.
  • Dutch law applies to the Agreement.

CONFIRMATION OF YOUR ONLINE PURCHASE

  • Immediately after your purchase is completed and the payment is finalized, you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive your e-ticket no later than two weeks before the event. Your e-ticket serves as the admission ticket to the chosen event.

EXCHANGING AND REFUNDING TICKETS

  • Always check your purchase or reservation before it is confirmed for quantity, date, and price.
  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships does not accept returns. The conditions of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships are: in the event of cancellation, interruption, non-commencement, or non-completion of a competition, the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships cannot be held liable. The costs of the entrance fee will not be reimbursed.

LEGAL REFLECTION PERIOD

  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships only sells time-bound tickets through the event website. As a result, the sales do not fall under the statutory reflection period of 7 working days within which a purchase can be undone.

PRIVACY POLICY

SECURITY

  • The event’s sales page is secured with SSL (Secure Socket Layer), ensuring the protection and encryption of your personal data while transmitted over the internet. CM Tickets uses payment methods approved by banks.

CREDIT CARD DETAILS

  • CM Tickets, nor the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships, stores your credit card details. This information is only encrypted and sent to the credit card companies.

PERSONAL DATA

  • You must provide personal information during the order process.
  • If there is suspicion of incorrect data, CM Tickets may block your purchase or reservation.
  • The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships and CM Tickets are not liable for damages resulting from providing incorrect data.
  • You can contact the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships to view your personal data.
  • The storage of personal data for the payment process is governed by the general terms and conditions of CM.com.
  • Data is stored at CM.com, in Breda, and Eindhoven.
  • The data is kept by CM.com for up to two years after purchases.

CM Tickets registers data via the ticket website. The data remains the property of the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships. It uses the information exclusively for the following purposes:

    This means that we can use your data to confirm your registration for an event. If you provide us with data about your friends, we will use this information to offer services that you request from us. Please obtain permission from these friends before sharing their data with us.

    For instance, we may send you an email about your account or the purchase of a ticket, or request you to write a review of an attended event. Additionally, we may contact you regarding this policy, another policy, or any of our terms and conditions.

    We analyze your data to enhance our understanding of you and our customer base in general. This is done to make better decisions regarding our services, advertising, products, and content. The analysis is based on a more informed view of how our customers use our current services, aiming to personalize your experience with us.
  • For security reasons.
    We may use your data to protect the security of our business, our employees, our customers, third parties, and/or our/their properties (including all possible events you have attended and our websites) as legally permitted.
  • For offering personalized advertising and online behavioral advertising.
    We may collaborate with other companies to display ads that we believe you will find relevant and useful. These ads may appear on our own websites or apps, or they may be ads from us displayed on other companies’ sites. The ads shown can be based on data collected by us or third parties and/or your activities on our websites or third-party sites. The second form of advertising is ‘online or behavioral advertising from third parties,’ targeted advertising based on browsing behavior.
  • For marketing purposes.
    If you have given consent for this, we may contact you via email with information or offers related to our upcoming events, products, or services (including newsletters).
  • As otherwise legally allowed.
    In a limited number of cases, we may also use your data for other purposes as legally permitted.
  • For the creation of visitor profiles for the purpose of calculating economic impact.
    For the calculation of the economic impact of the European Athletics Indoor Championships, visitor profiles are created. These profiles are entirely anonymous.

CM Tickets

  • CM Tickets uses the data for ticket purchase registration, sending a confirmation email, and delivering access passes via email. CM Tickets stores the data in Breda and Eindhoven.

  • If you have agreed to be contacted by our partners via email, we may provide your data to the mentioned partners, and these third parties can use this data for their marketing or advertising purposes.

The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships will not provide, sell, exchange, or otherwise disclose personal information to a third party unless:

  • You have given us permission for this.
  • There are legal grounds to do so.

Access, Correction, and/or Deletion of Your Data

OPT-IN AND USE OF DATA

  • When the option ‘Yes, I want to stay informed about news regarding the European Athletics Indoor Championships (via newsletter, SMS, WhatsApp)’ is selected during the online ordering process, you give permission to the European Athletics Indoor Championships to send newsletters to you. Data remains under the management of the European Athletics Indoor Championships. It is always possible to unsubscribe.
  • The opt-in data is used for information reinforcement for the respective action mailing. The data is stored internally and not shared with other parties unless otherwise indicated.

PORTRAIT RIGHTS

  • During the European Athletics Indoor Championships, photographs are taken by the official photographers of the event. Visitors may be captured in these photos. By accepting the General Terms and Conditions, you agree to the use of photos in which you are recognizable.
  • The photo rights are fully acquired from the official photographers, making the organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships the owner of the photos. Photo management is handled by TIG Sports.
  • The organization may post photos on the website and social media channels to promote the event.
  • The organization shares photos with its partners and sponsors of the the European Athletics Indoor Championships.

REGULATIONS

For the safety of everyone present on the premises of the European Athletics Indoor Championships, rules have been established. These rules do not deviate from those of other events in the Netherlands. Please read them carefully before attending the European Athletics Indoor Championships, as your presence at the event implies automatic agreement with these house rules.

ACCESS CONTROL
Access control is implemented at the European Athletics Indoor Championships for the safety of visitors and participants. During these checks, body searches may be conducted, and bags may be inspected. The following items are not allowed into the European Athletics Indoor Championships and must be surrendered or taken home during checks:

  • (Plastic) bottles
  • Fireworks
  • Weapons
  • Dangerous/sharp objects
  • Perfume, deodorant, and other spray cans
  • Sound and/or image recording equipment, except for mobile phones (unless permitted by the organization)

The judgment of the security staff is final. By entering the European Athletics Indoor Championships premises, you automatically agree to cooperate with clothing and bag checks. If prohibited items are found, you will be handed over to the police.

ALCOHOL
According to Dutch legislation, the sale of alcoholic beverages to individuals under 18 years of age is not allowed, and the consumption of alcohol by these individuals is also prohibited. The European Athletics Indoor Championships, like other events, adheres to this legislation and will enforce it. You may be asked for identification. If you are 18 years or older and appear young, you may be asked for identification repeatedly. In such cases, you can obtain a wristband at the information desk indicating that you are 18 years or older. If the use of alcohol under the age of 18 is observed, the organization will take action.

DRUGS
Possession or trafficking of drugs is not allowed at the European Athletics Indoor Championships. Bags and clothing may be checked by the police or security personnel.

UNWANTED BEHAVIOR AND CRIMINAL OFFENSES
Visitors are obligated to adhere to regulations and/or instructions from security personnel. Instructions given by or on behalf of the organization must be executed or followed immediately and without reservation. If security personnel or the organization deems your behavior unwanted, you may be denied access to the European Athletics Indoor Championships. In the case of criminal offenses, you will be handed over to the police, and a report will be filed at all times.

SALES AND PROMOTION
Sale or promotion of goods and/or services on or around the European Athletics Indoor Championships premises is not allowed without prior written permission from the organization.

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Taking photos with professional camera equipment is not allowed unless you have received explicit and written permission from the organization.
  • When taking photos at the event venue and all associated locations, consider the situation of those involved.

ANIMALS
Animals are not allowed on the European Athletics Indoor Championships premises. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs for the blind and service dogs.

CHILDREN
The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships advises parents to be aware of the situation on the premises. If you bring your children, consider factors such as uneven terrain, the size of the venue, and the large number of people present.

OWN RISK
Entering the European Athletics Indoor Championships premises is entirely at the visitor’s own risk. The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships is not liable in any way for any damage to visitors and/or their belongings.

LOST OR FOUND ITEMS
All found items are collected at the information desk during the European Athletics Indoor Championships. After the event, found items are taken to TIG Sports.

CONFISCATED ITEMS
Items not allowed on the European Athletics Indoor Championships premises will be confiscated, and you will permanently lose them. If necessary, they will be handed over to the police along with you.

PUBLIC URINATION
Public urination is not allowed, and the police may issue fines for this offense. Please use the restroom facilities provided on the premises.

ACCESSIBILITY
The organization of the European Athletics Indoor Championships strives to make the event accessible for wheelchairs. Toilet facilities for wheelchair users are also provided. However, it cannot be guaranteed that there will be available space. Instructions from staff must be followed at all times.

PARKING
Those with a parking ticket for the European Athletics Indoor Championships are allowed to use the designated parking area. Without a parking ticket, access to this parking area is not possible. A special parking area will be set up for regular visitors.

  • Parking is only allowed in designated spaces for cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.
  • The parking ticket is valid for the entire day.
  • Always follow the advice of the parking attendants.
  • Keep the parking lot clean. Dispose of your waste in the designated bins.
  • Pollution on the premises should be reported to the police.
  • Entering the parking area with glassware is not allowed.
  • Meeting sanitary needs outside the designated facilities is not allowed.
  • In case of obstruction, the organization may need to relocate the vehicle.
  • Parking on the premises is at your own risk. The site manager cannot be held liable for possible damage or theft of vehicles and/or cargo.
